龚宇博士，祖籍湖北仙桃，英国南安普顿大学（2026QS世界排名87名）商公司运营管理副教授，博士生导师，CORMSIS中心校企联合中国区主任，区块链与供应链研究中心主任，牛津大学访问学者。主要研究方向为多层级可持续供应链管理与供应链创新，已发表SCI/SSCI论文80余篇，加拿大毅伟教学案例四篇，合著专著两本。论文发表在多份高水平期刊如IJOPM，IJPE，IJPR，IMM，BSE。担任《Business Strategy and the Environment》（ABS 3，影响因子13.3）副主编，IMDS，CSREM编委，多次担任国际期刊IJOPM，IJPR等客座编辑，同时担任JOM，BJM等多份国际知名刊物匿名审稿人。

活动简介：

Beverage cartons offer a solution for food protection and extending product shelf life. However, their mixed structure makes recycling difficult. Blockchain (BCT) is often touted as having significant potential for addressing the recycling crisis. Yet, such claims often lack supporting evidence and rely on conceptual arguments. This research aims to explore the application of BCT in recycling used beverage cartons (UBCs). This research involves action research in collaboration with a world-leading food packaging solutions company and a leading BCT company. The project will be launched in Hebei Province, China, in partnership with a local recycler and will involve 150 primary schools. Together, stakeholders along the recycling chain, including schools, recyclers, packaging company, and local governments, will work to establish a transparent recycling process, highlighting circular efforts. UBCs will be recycled and processed into reusable products, with their entire end-of-life journey tracked using BCT. This pilot project will provide a valuable learning opportunity for tens of thousands of students on environmental protection and the circular economy. It will also empower small and medium-sized enterprise recyclers and serve as a reference for other recycling initiatives.
